MNT Reform CM4 Processor Module
Increase the CPU and GPU performance of your MNT Reform laptop using the RCM4 Processor Module Adapter.
This adapter supports two processor modules: the Banana Pi CM4 and the Raspberry Pi CM4. This adapter, especially the bundle with A311D, is our go-to Processor Module for most use cases: it's fast, affordable, and made of available (meaning non-rare) components.
For performance, check our video with A311D Processor Module:

1. Adapter Bundle with Banana Pi CM4 (Amlogic A311D)
We would like to introduce you to a secret gem: the Banana Pi CM4 (Amlogic A311D). The A311D will make your MNT Reform laptop very fast—both in terms of CPU and GPU—while keeping its power usage at roughly the same level. It's our second fastest CPU module (after MNT Reform RCORE RK3588) and the most budget-friendly option. The A311D is very power efficient, has stable Linux support, and integrates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at no extra cost.
Unlike the Raspberry Pi, the Banana Pi is not a rare module, so we can offer it as a bundle with the adapter.
Compared to our standard module, the i.MX8MQ, the Banana Pi CM4 doubles, even triples the performance.

Detailed Specs
Hexacore CPU | 4x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 + 2x 1.8GHz Cortex-A53 |
GPU | ARM Mali G52 MP4 (OpenGL/ES 3.1 with Panfrost driver) |
RAM | 4GB LPDDR4 |
Wi-Fi | Integrated RTL8822CS (WiFi 5) |
Ethernet | 1 Gbit/s |
There are also downsides compared to the i.MX8MQ module. These include:
- USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.0
- Only 1 PCIe slot instead of 2
- No dual display at this point (only HDMI or internal at a time)
- Part of boot/TF-A and Wi-Fi firmware is closed source. Drivers are open source.
- MNT Reform only: M.2 slot is deactivated and cannot be used.
In the Box
- MNT Reform CM4 Processor Module Adapter
- Banana Pi CM4 (Amlogic A311D)
- Universal Heatsink (milled aluminum)
2. Adapter for Raspberry Pi CM4 (CM4 not included)
As already mentioned, it is hard to get hold of the Raspberry Pi these days. This is the reason we cannot offer the adapter as a bundle. But if you happen to own one, this adapter is just what you need.
Similar to the A311D, the Raspberry Pi CM4 offers more speed and performance for your MNT Reform. It is not as fast as the Banana Pi CM4, but it is faster than the i.MX8MQ standard processor module.
