MNT Quasar 6490 Processor Module

Well Rested: MNT Quasar 6490 Brings Quick Sleep/Resume to Pocket Reform.

It's here: the MNT Quasar with Qualcomm QCS6490 (Thundercomm C6490P) Processor Module that wakes up your Pocket Reform in a snap when you need it.

This new feature not only reduces battery consumption compared to lock screen mode—it also lets you pick up your work and fun projects exactly where you left off. Sleep/resume is particularly useful for non-stationary use of Pocket Reform during travels and commuting, between work meetings or university seminars, on your lunch or dinner break, or in case you forgot your power adapter and want to extend the run time without losing progress.

Quasar with QCS6490 dials up CPU and graphics speed while prolonging your battery runtime and letting Pocket Reform run less hot—thanks to the chip's 6nm process and advanced power management features.

The development of this open hardware module was funded by NLnet/NGI0 Core, and we thank Linaro for working with us on optimizing the Linux kernel and u-boot for it.
