MNT Pocket Reform Back Plate
The Improved Back Plate for Your MNT Pocket Reform.
Our new and improved back plate is made from 2 layers of FR-4 and has a copper zone on the inside. This functions as a heat spreader for Pocket Reform's main processor. The zones without copper make radio transmission like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and broadband more reliable. A Wi-Fi antenna (Molex 146153-9150) is included.
Since the error on the previous back plate is on us and we want it to be affordable for everyone, we decided to offer this part at manufacturing cost without profit.
Antenna Placement
Remove the film and stick the antenna to the lower right at the bottom, so that the connector points to the lower left. A good orientation are the two holes that are drilled into the copper. (on the upper side, there is only one hole)
Connect it to your Wi-Fi card.
